I love her delightful white fichu. She's trying to capture her uncle's sense of majesty there... but just manages to be cute instead.
Attack of the eyebrows! The fetching was not a fluke, by the way. Last night we played for an hour, and she brought me things over and over to toss for her, purring all the while. She also started bringing me her toys as well, including dragging her feather on a stick up on my bed and depositing it on my head.
love is in the air. thanks for sharing your sweet baby.

Good lord, she's amazingly cute.
ReplyDeleteShe's like the young Elizabeth I in that top photo. You can see she has the heart of a lion.

kittens who fetch? are you certain she was not a puppy in a previous lifetime???
ReplyDeleteMy kitty has been fetching since I got her at 12 weeks...she's now almost 2! She'll bring anything to me to be thrown. Her favorites aren't her toys, rather pens and other small items like that..but whatever it is, it's just so adorable!!
ReplyDeleteI've been lurking for awhile and was so sad when Maxx passed, but am glad to see Maddie. Keep the pics and stories coming!!!
she looks very "grownup" compared to two weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteLittle kitties and puppies at this age are growing so fast, it's as if they are getting bigger right in front of your eyes.
Oooohhhh....trusting you with the feather monster?
ReplyDeleteClearly you've been accepted....

ReplyDeleteWelcome lurker!

ReplyDeleteShe IS growing right before our eyes. Already she's starting to look less kittenish, and more like a small cat.
But she still behaves like a kitten. So funny.
I love the top picture that shows her early potential for wisdom and I love the bottom picture for those crazy eyebrows. Attack is right!
ReplyDeleteBottom pic "Hey!!! Did I wake you? Y'wanna play? I'll get the feather!!!"
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that look!!! She is soooo adorable and endearing!
The regal/cute pic is very promising, indeed! :)
I am so happy for you FLG, Maxx is smiling.

Maxx picked Madeleine his ownself. You can tell, because she looks so much like him. Lucky for you, 4LG, Maine Coons stay kittenish into their second year. That was the year Bad-de-Coot was doing art projects with toilet paper and running sinks, on the black bathroom floor.
ReplyDeleteI had a fetcher - he was a gorgeous GIANT orange tabby named Mouse (as a kitten, he squeaked) - gone 11 years now, alas - but when he'd get tired of fetching he'd just sit on whatever it was we were playing with...
