    i was going to visit keeping in mind this time i would resist her charms -- be strong.

    but when i saw her adorableness in this post it seemed you had pulled out all the stops, like you were cheating [in a fun way] - a low blow - as in "an unscrupulous attack." oops, not meant to be taken so literally. it didn't occur to me there was more a commonly intended meaning.
