I think every friday is a good day to remember lion kitty Maxx.
Now that I have Maddie, Maxx looks so grownup and masculine in comparison.
Okay, that's weird- when I posted the post, it really struck me how similar Maxx and Maddie's facial markings are. Even around the eyes.
Cue "Twilight Zone" music.
And she has Maxx' chin, too. Thank you for that lovely picture. I love Maddie, how could anyone not adore those round golden eyes and wispy ear tufts? But I think of Maxx every single day.
ReplyDeleteMaddie is looking more and more like Maxx because he's guiding her growth from the cometary plane.
ReplyDeleteWhich should keep him out of trouble … like when he blew up that piece of space junk, a lost rocket booster wasn't it?
Has Maxx been up to mischief? Goodness, me! No wonder Maddie is so naughty, waking up her Centaur with head-leapment. Is he whispering in her wispy ears, I wonder?
ReplyDeletesweet angel.
ReplyDeleteo'mestizo
but of course there is a resemblance - he is her American 'oncle', n'est pas?
ReplyDeleteShe is his plus belle niece from Montmartre afterall! :)
(or pick a suitable French town or Parisian suburb. Being as I am quite the "Amelie" movie-fan, I think of Montmartre as the proper place for precocious, precious, practical, photogenic plush gals)
Merci for the Maxximus Plushimus pics!!!

Maxx is a handsome catt. Maine Coon cat?
ReplyDeleteMaxx is the handsomest kitty evah! Even if Bandicoot does bite me for saying it. Loverboy!
ReplyDeleteoh! oh no! i hadn't been by plush life in a long (too long) time, and was so sad to hear of Maxx's passing. thank you for the loving pictures & tribute to a tremendous kitty with ample plush.
ReplyDeletecongratulations on your new bounding kitten! she seems intrepid and utterly ferocious.
