Rippppp-llllleeeeeeeeeeeey!!

She's up and about and feeling better today. She's still not quite sure what to make of Maddie, who just wants to play with her. Maddie is only a month older, but she's twice as big as Ripley. They're not fighting though, and Maddie doesn't seem upset. She's completely fascinated by her, and she keeps making, "let's play!!" overtures.

I think they'll be BFFs in no time.

    Good.

Arthur recommends that they share their food bowl for awhile. Nothing says friends like fine dining and pate, shared together.

    Woo hoo! Helloooooo Chainsaw!

I'll bet she's a little intimidated by her big new sister and her strange new habitat. She'll settle down in no time. And kudos to Maddie for playing the big sister perfectly.

I love her. I also think you are putting the two of them together at perfect ages for it.

I'm so glad you got her!

  7. She doesn't seem to fazed to be in a new house. She's been exploring and she hasn't hidden once.

She doesn't seem really afraid of Maddie, it's more of a "stay back for now!" kind of thing.

  12. As one who has gotten chomped by a chain saw, I wonder why you're calling such a gorgeous feline the name of such a vicious machine. Elucidate me.

    blame it on NTodd

It's always NTodd's fault. Whatever "it" is, he's almost always guilty. Or can be made to look guilty.

Caminante, NTodd suggested "Chainsaw " as an appropriate name for a kitten. A sweet, fuzzy little ball of Plush, with ear tufts to die for!

Something abt those long, dark Vermont winters turns the mind onto peculiar paths.
