Remember one night over at the crack den when Maxx would NOT get out of your lap and you were joking "for the love of God someone get this cat off my lap" ...well... that was so you would remember. That is where he wanted to be, right with you. In another world, again, I hope he will be.
Has Maxx met Nemesis, a ginger cinnamon swirl 16 year-old tabby who had to cross the bridge yesterday? I hope so. Nem wasn't mine but beloved of a friend of mine. Surely Nem has his comet, too?
Meanwhile, remember dear Maxx, you'll never forget him and he will always be a part of you.
I miss Maxx and I never met him. One of the great ones, it's plain to see, like my much missed Kitty.
Our daughter came home after a lengthy absence and is now allergic to our elderly, time-is- running-out, Aby. I may not be able to ever have another cat.
So your two darlings may have to fill in, if you wouldn't mind.

ReplyDeleteHe always did leave too soon for me.

He loved you so much 4LG, and you loved him too. I still miss him terribly too. Somewhere over the rainbow bridge.

Maxx was so friendly and so sweet, I have to hope that he greats all the wonderful kittehs who cross the bridge.
ReplyDeleteMaxx is in a better place than here … riding his comet … meeting and greeting blog-related kittehs.
ReplyDelete[Other varieties of kitteh go to other comets.]
His place is better because it is free of politicians and cable pundits. They go quickly to hell in a speedboat over the river Styx.
