I've been checking in at the blog and saw. My dear, I hope he comes home, but if he doesn't, know in your heart that you alone are responsible for the happiness and the time he's had. You took him in and cared for him, you showed him love and compassion. He knows that, and could give his love to you, for safekeeping. Take good care of it. I wish I had more comfort to offer, but life is so hard some days. You're in my thoughts.
Waiting anxiously, but just remembered how Ramon Rivera, beloved shadowdancer, once didn't come home for several days - turned out a neighbour had taken quite a liking to him and was feeding him ham, lobster and shrimp and the little greedbag figured he was gettin' better vittles over there!!! Rang every doorbell in my neighbourhood only to find him ensconced on a priceless Persian carpet. Ring some doorbells, maybe? He's such a gorgeous Plushmonster, I'd be tempted to keep him if he dropped by, and he is awfully friendly!
Any sign of him yet? Sending strong good vibes from Missouri. Take care, 4L.....and remember, you're a great guardian. Any of us would like to be reincarnated as a cat at your house....
jenny, it's not so good for 4lg to leave the house right now, don't you think? 4lg, is there a nearby friend who can take Maxx' pix in to Animal Control and do the pleading? You should stay close to home, just in case Boy comes home needing attention.
You mentioned the "bad cat" flyers over at Eschaton - have you tried Animal Control to see if they picked him up?
Animal control said they weren't out here yesterday, but that doesn't mean that someone didn't pick him up and turn him in as a stray. I'm going down there now to look for him.
