Morning kitties

Napping.

Did I spy a feather?

You're not leaving again, are you?

There's something about Ripley's expression. She always looks sad to me. (Don't worry, she's not.)

  1. Ripley's expressions range from wide-eyed kidden to sloe-eyed vamp. She's very photogenic!

It's the way her little mouf curves. She always looks like she's pouting.

Ripley has the "Forlorn Waif" thing down to perfection.

Good thing she learned it early. That expression got her taken to a shelter, rather than being left to be a dumpster diver.

Once in the shelter, Ripley's forlorn air, plus waving paws and heartful meows, got the attention of the best of adopters.

So the clever little girl earned the best of homes, with a wiser big sister to play with and a devoted kittenslave.

"Forlorn Waif" is an effective shtick.
