    Maddie is justified to look shocked. If her pate contains mutton … what is a kitten to think?

    Damn, the modern world is getting so complex. I can understand why the weak-minded among us take refuge in following authoritarian leaders, religious or political.

    Thinking of the weak-minded, is George W. more dependent on Cheney or Rove? Could he be clinging to the increasingly toxic Abu Gonzales because he needs the guy?
