Ahh, so them's normal kittehs after all, running away from the dreaded noise monster. My youngest hides somewhere and won't come out for two or three hours afterwards. (Do I vacuum often for that reason? No.)

Maddie goes into the closet, Ripley goes behind the bed.Afterwards I have to coax Ripley out. She comes out meowing and purrring, and has to be picked up and comforted.
Awwww...poor little Ripley, but I delight in the notion of you picking her up and comforting her.
