RIP beloved Zoey

Barry in Alaska writes today to say that his beloved pirate kitteh Zoey reached the end of her life today. She suffered a small stroke and has gone to the rainbow bridge. But never fear, Lion Kitteh Maxx has been summoned and will be along shortly to take Zoey on a journey to the stars on Comet Maxx.

RIP dear girl. May the afterlife be filled with snoozy blankies, alien carrots, delicious treats and long, lazy naps. You will be missed. I am certain that every day with you was a gift.

Yeah, I know I haven't been around much - apologies!! take this incredible photo of the storm on Saturn that started last year, photographed by the Cassini spacecraft, as a peace offering.

For those of you wondering about the plushy girls, why yes, they are just fine. Unfortunately my apartment is fairly shady and I've had problems shooting them without a flash. Not to mention lack of time to do so.

They shall return in all their fluffy glory shortly.

While the previous post was pretty and all.... it was lacking in PLUSH!! So, after many years of threatening, here are some actual videos of Maddie and Ripley.



Ripley, for some strange reason, prefers the stick end of the feather. Hard to believe this beautiful, plush girl with the luxuriant coat was once a bedraggled, abandoned kitteh, eh?



Maddie, sadly, is unable to sit still for very long. She does still lurve her feather on a stick!! thank you Kid Ranger. She plays with them each and every day.
