RIP Darryl
I am so sad. Good friend of this blog, Darryl Pearce, has passed away suddenly. He was only 47.
He leaves behind a wife and two sons.
He was one of the most gentle, sweet and humorous of the many friends I have made online. I am sorry that I never got a chance to meet him in real space.
RIP buddy. Darryl Glen Pearce

This looks worse than it is- a pregnant tiger had wandered into a village and the villagers had beaten and stoned her, chasing her up a date palm. Nice forest rangers came and rescued her and returned her to the Sundabarans Tiger Preserve.

Nubs. A happy ending.
AP/Major Brian Dennis
Dog Saved by Marine gets Permanent Home.
The only thing you can say to a story like this is "YAY!!!"
We forget somethings that some of the worst suffering in a war zone is borne by animals, who have no choice in the matter.
Major Dennis is coming home in March. I hope he stays safe until then and that he and Nubs have a long and happy life together.

WARNING!! SPYWARE
Hey plushiots, a public service announcement here. Lately spammers have been posting links to mal-ware and spy-ware in the comments sections of blogspot blogs.
Please be careful about which links you click on- don't click on a link posted by a commenter you are unfamiliar with. I'll try to delete those comments as soon as I see them pop up, but I do have to sleep (and work) occasionally.
kai, thx, bai!
