Wednesday update
Lion kitty Maxx started his new cancer treatment today. I'm waiting to see if it makes him barf. If so, then he comes off it immediately. If not, then hooray!! We get to hope that it slows the growth of his tumor.
He's not liking being dosed (as usual) but he loves him the sound of "Speaker Pelosi." As do we all.
AP calls it for Webb
Damn. Olbermann just reported that the AP is calling the Virginia senate race for Webb.
Can't find a link yet.
But damn.

Without Merit
I am slammed with work today, but everytime I check into the news and/or the blogs, I hear another sorry tale of republican malfeasance or dirty trick.
It just reminds me that they CANNOT WIN ON THE MERITS.
What a bunch of pathetic, puling, whiney-ass tittty babies.
Update: Billmon sums it up for all of us. They are indeed nothing more than a bunch of white collar thugs. Election reform should be the first order of business for a new democratic congress.

Pathology
I am sad to report that lion kitty Maxx has feline oral squamous cell carcinoma. There is no known chemotherapy for this cancer and surgery is not an option. Radiation is out of the question as well.
His specialist and his regular vet have consulted and have come up with a treatment plan to alleviate his symptoms and to keep him as healthy and happy as long as possible.
He may have as long as six months, which will be a blessing. Everyday with him has been a gift.
Thanks again for all your prayers and kind thoughts.
Update: Just spoke to his regular vet- we're going to start a regimen of drugs to help slow the growth and control the inflamation and pain.
