Lean your head back, little fella, and I'll scritchy-scratch all the way down your throat to your tummy. A nice tummy rub, then I've got a catnip scented damp towel to wash your face.

That should send you off to kitty dreamland.

Flory, he still has bartonella, the vets are undecided how to treat him.

He got a big old shot of steroids and he's still on antibiotics.

His appetite is getting better. I'm exhausted.

Oh, poor Maxxie. And poor 4LG. The steroids, they are not so good, my friend. And you have to antibiotic-dose him every day. He is looking a lot better and a lot happier - right before his diagnosis, he was drooping his poor head a lot. Rest up, both of you, I send you many healing thoughts. Maxx, ear smooches, and scritches, and bellyrubs, baby. You feel better now, sweetie. Schmecks. In fact, Schmeckalahs.

I've been waiting to hear how his tests came out -- I'm still not sure what Bartonella is, but it sounds not much fun for either one of you.

I'm sending you lots of healing thoughts (both of you). Thank you for your usual gorgeous pictures of the boy! He is a little lovie!
