Double Plushy Shot
Mr. Plushy had a check up at the vet this morning. The good news is that he's gained a pound. The bad news is that his mouth is still infected. He'll be on drugs for the next month at least.
Oh, NO!!! Poor, poor baby! At least his mouf doesn't hurt anymore and he can eat and is making up for lost weight. Maxx, your fans send you plenty juju and hope you're all OK soon, baby. Chin-scritch.
Sorry to hear he is not totally recovered. I recently read something about this mouth thing. It will pass, ultimately, and he's clearly improving, which is good.
You mean he's been having fevers??? Poor Maxx. Poor little Maxx. He's such a sweetie, it's not right that he should suffer. Why doesn't Karl Rove have nasty mouth germies and abscesses and daily fevers? He could certainly stand to lose a few pounds. Or a few dozen. Schmuck. Hope you feel better soon, Maxxie.

Bartonella germies.
I'm pleased that he's still eating. He chowed down tonight and then purred afterwards.

I certainly hope so. He didn't have a fever today, another good sign.

Gaining an entire pound for someone Maxx's size is a lot, that's got to be a good sign. Keeping his strength up and such.
His coat appears as luxuriant as ever, that's a good sign, too. There's no "sick cat" lookk abt the Lion Kitty.
You're doing a good job caring for him, 4Leggs.
Fight fiercely Fourlegs!
I will!!
