I frequently curse the competence of the Secret Service details assigned to protect the President and the Vice President...couldn't they admit just ONE underachiever who failed to "take the bullet" or make sure that there were only friendly folk in the crowd?

I have a feeling that if Cheney did something like this, I'd find a way to make it through the SS to chew his throat out with my very own old teeth! I'm 71, so they're probably a bit dull -- but I'd be seriously motivated!!!
