I think he knows exactly how handsome he is and how many legions of his fans swoon for the sight of His Plushiness. Lookit that face. You know he's thinking, "Kneel and Adore Me, Ye Masses!" Smoochy-smooch, Mr. Plushy! Any update on his ailment, 4LG?
When it was over 100ยบ for 11 days in a row, here in Sacramento last month, my two cats were listless too. At least after they quit demanding to be let outside.
When they found that their outside was devilishly hot even in the dark, and the air smelled like grass fires, they laid down in front of a cool air vent for the duration.
No lap snuggling, no sleeping with the humans, no wrestling with each other. Just an extra lot of shedding.

And the shadows add dimension to Lion Kitty's features, plus complimenting his fur patterns.
Good choice.
Maxx seems to be thinking "worship me".
I prefer to shoot with available light- it's hard with animals, since they don't usually hold still.
As for his illness, his mouth seems better, and he's eating well, but he seems a little listless to me.
Then again, it's been over a 100 degrees every day this week, so it could just be the heat.
So, when are we getting you and Mr. Plushy out of Texas and into weather better suited for centaurs and fuzzballs?
I gots me some professional stuff to do first that will make it easier for Mr. Plushy and me to relocate (without turning us into paupers).
I love the lighting in this pitcher. It makes him look so naturally plushious.
Shorter Maxx: *yawn* I'm gorgeous *yawn*
Yah, it's kind of nice.
Just side lighting from the Eiffel Tower.

That is just one fine-looking kittycat. You should see the one I met on the Isle of Skye while visiting Flora MacDonald's grave.
Thanks Smitty!!
I'm glad his royal plushiness seems a bit better! His royal state has been worrying me lately. Great pictures of him!
