This is a great post, 4LG!
I love it!
Isn't that the truth? They crash all day, and when you come home, they cruise. That's the life of a kitty for you.
KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTY!
Look at that sassy walk!
I like that his tail is always in a question mark. He waves it from side to side as he saunters about.
Well, duh.
Someone has to stay home and guard the 4lg homestead whilst you're at work. And a hardworking guard is allowed a little nap from time to time. (He sleeps with one eye open, don't worry).
Once you're home and able to take over guard duty, Maxx the Protector is free to roam.
Makes perfect sense to me....
Authority is not a word in the feline lexicon. Each furry critter is a law unto himself, as they often remind us.
Our place in the universe is definitely not to tell the furry Majesties what to do. Begging and pleading sometimes works, as does screaming furiously.
But screaming would be beneath the dignity of a Centaur.
Just be glad that Maxx doesn't get behind the wheel of that car and zoom off spraying gravel and playing the music real loud.
sekmet, I like that mental picture. Bandicoot "ran away" from home last weekend - didn't come in that evening or most of the next day - and I kept seeing him showing up, human size, in a cool convertible, tossing me the keys and saying, "I won the lottery, and got me these cool wheels, but you gotta drive me cos they won't give me a license."
