Saturday Plushy
Maxx continues to bounce back from his biopsy on Wednesday. The catheter is out of his leg (I had to sit on him to get the tape off) and the swelling in his face has subsided substantially. He cleaned his plate last night and had some vanilla ice cream (so delicious!!) for desert. He just had some late breakfast, and he's now sleeping on the back of the sofa.
Except for his disappointment at not being able to go out to prowl, he seems fairly content.
Thanks again for all your kind wishes, good karma and mojo, and general love you all have thrown in our direction. You've made a difficult situation much easier.

Will he not be able to prowl again, ever? Or is this a temporary thing?
such a relief to know he's feeling better.

I want the place on his leg where the catheter was to close up and for his mouth to heal up some more first.
And I want to know he's feeling well enough that he's not going to run off to die under a bush somewhere.
we love you both!

Many, many, many, many people want that.
What's a few lizard snackies between friends? 4LG, thank you for the Plushy update. It's good to see the boy getting better. How peacefully he sleeps! Rest, and sleep well tonight. You are the most wonderful of kittyparents. And Maxx is the most wonderful of kittycats.
i've been thru this more than once.
rosie, the indoor cat, now deceased, almost took down a squirrel in her waning days. which is more than i could say for the supposed mighty hunter outdoor cats, steve and tai.
rosie was around a good bit after we got the final verdict.
get strong Maxx.
Our love and hopeful thoughts go to you both.
Gentle wellness to you two.

Gentle hugs and scritches to the plushy one.
Loving thoughts to the centaur who takes care of him.
Is he still mad at you cause you won't let him go out?
Aw, fuzzy little beastie.
