4-legs. Do you have to wait until after the New Year to find out if Maxx is a candidate for the new procedure? The wait must be killing you. Hope he's feeling ok today.
The first appointment is next Thursday. He looks awful today. He's not eating either.
Another food you might try is baby food. Regular Gerber's strained meat *without* vegetables. The most popular seems to be chicken or turkey. It seems to have an appetizing smell, and doesn't require chewing. Also, and I'm sure you know this already, but sometimes if you put a dab on the end of your finger and encourage him to lick it off, once he get started he realizes he is hungry and will continue on his own.
Here's hoping jftb is right, and it is just "one of those days" for Maxx, and his appetite is back to normal tomorrow. Thinking of you both...

Will the Lion Kitty have champagne with his catnip on New Year's Eve?
Hope he's still eating well and feeling better.
No, we are not off work, but really happy to see Our Boy Maxx looking all relaxed and loved and happy. He looks good. Hope he's feeling good.
Lots of pets for the Maxxer. Good thoughts, thoughts of miracles.
Best wishes for Maxxie from me and Nero-kitty.

...try REBOUND liquid food (for cats).
lol
he looks like me when I used to drink.
It would be great if you could get a kitty appetite enhancer. Like the ones they give to human cancer patients.

It causes them agony to process food if the organs cannot handle it.
His organs are fine, it's just his mouf that hurts.
That kitty looks pretty stoned. I've still got all my fingers and toes crossed.
*scritches*
