Daily Kitten palooza

"I got kicked in the haid last night by accident."

"I don't know what all the fuss is about, she seems fine to me. Now, bring that feather on a stick a little closer..."

Her haid injury didn't stop her from jumping on her sister.

Ripley milked her "injury" for all it was worth last night, repeatedly asking to be picked up and cuddled.

She ran underfoot when I was exercising and I almost tromped on her. Luckily I was able to check myself, but not before I almost stomped down on her little haid.

She ran off, squishing her poor little ear down, obviously in a great deal of pain. I chased after her and picked her up and hugged her so she wouldn't be scared.

Poor little bugger. She seems fine though, and doesn't flinch if I pet her on that ear, so I imagine it just smarted for a minute.

A hoof can really hurt, you know. Poor baby Ripley.

Smart baby Ripley … getting all the cuddles she needed to recover. She probably thought her kittenslave was rebelling. Silly kitten.

Centaurs need to exercise to make them strong for feather playing and other important duties.
I know how horrible it is to step on a tail or a paw. Makes one feel like an eight hundred pound ogre. It learns the little ones to be more careful though.

Now if Maddie were to kick that little hellion in the head, it would be understandable. Maddie must be a wonder of patience.

She's such a resilient little girl! When life gives you feet on the haid, jump on other haids!

When that happens (and it inevitably will), they just need reassuring that you didn't mean to do that. ESPECIALLY shelter kitties, or other cats who were obviously abused (like this guy ).

Hope she shook it off and has completely returned to "normal". As if such a thing existed for cats.

She has. I told her I was sorry and let her bite me on the hand several times.

All was good afterwards.
