She enjoys popping out from under the sofa. In fact, they both do, which is why I'm going to need a new sofa this fall.

Use that tail for a feather duster, do you?

BTW -- Think either one will be mature enough not to destroy a new couch by the fall?
Flory beat me to that comment. That there is a Mutant Feather Duster!
If only Maddie would agree to dust the right things, without knocking stuff off your tabletops.
Those snagged threads can be cut flush with the fabric, without unraveling. That'll get a little more milage out of the otherwise good-looking sofa.
Polly, it's a slip cover, and it's getting a little long in the tooth, even without the snagged threads.
I've had it over 10 years, which is a pretty good run for a sofa.

Hah! I've had my sofa going on 30 years, and the woman I bought it from had it for 25.
Been reupholstered at least three times.

That's one brush-bottle tail! Does she chase it? (My orange guy likes to chase his tail first thing in the morning on top of me before I have gotten out of bed.)
Does she chase it?
Not as much as she used to.
