I love your kitties! I am a dog person, but your little ones are staring to win me over. I don't know the first thing about cats except to be scared of them (I come from a long line of women who have handed down stories meant to inspire fear in these little felines... It's unfortunate.)

Maddie is a Maine Coon, right? What kind of cat is Ripley?

Also - I think it was a good move to create Got Pitchfork?. I think it is working out nicely.

Enjoy your weekend reading!

Thanks! yes, Maddie is a pure bred maine coon. Ripley was a shelter kitty, who knows what she is?

I'm glad you're enjoying Got Pitchfork?

Ripley is an American Domestic Shorthair, subset Princess.

"Princess" is an earned status. It requires being stolen from one's family as a kitten. Then one must earn a new home with palatial status.

Ms. Ripley Chainsaw earned her title with seductive paw waving, piteous mewing and consummate eeepiness.

Maddie, as a Maine Coon Cat, was born a princess.
And she is a credit to her royal family.

Thank you again and again and again, fourlegs, for sharing your girls and your gift with us. Both here and the other place.

I had enough of my own dealings with "the other place" (not yours) today, so I shall continue to gaze at your girls and have a little peace. And some eeps.

(I think you'll agree that is photographic proof of the royal resemblance.)

Smooch your girls thoroughly for all of us. And smooch yourself kindly, too.
