Agreed, macs rule. I have a macbook, but it's not the pro. Still sweet. And an old iMac from 2000 that's still chugging along.
Yeah, my old iMac is still chugging along processor-wise, but the flat screen is going- and thats a killer.

So which did you get, the 15 or 17 inch screen and the 2.2 or 2.4 mhz processor?
I plod along with my 2003 20G G4 and a 2005 (rebuilt in 2006) 14 inch iBook.
Equally important is my 40G OWC external hard drive. That's where I have stored all my cat photos.
I got the 15 inch 2.2 mhz. My work laptop is a 1.67 mhz and it runs just fine.
Didn't feel the need to spend the extra $500.
I do need an external hard drive though. For backups.
