I thought Georgie W. looked desperately ernest in his little speech tonite.

Quite desperate in a "deer caught in the headlights" way, trying to convince us of all that bullshit.

36 coalition members, for instance. It looks as if he has convinced himself it is all true.

Which means Georgie W. has jumped the shark … he has fallen into his own fantasy, he is truly insane.

Chris Mathews looked ill when he came on camera after the speech. Shoulders sagging, chin down, Mathews saw the wreckage of his much admired "manly man".

Hope the kittens didn't pay attention to this human idiocy, lest it disturb their dreams.
