Maddies eyes iz horizontal. Teh birdies are vertical.

Cats and owls do have weird similarities. Maxxine has a definite owl look when ears are tilted at a certain angle. And of course those big eyes...

I call my Orange Guy 'Swivel Head' because of how he rotates his head. Lots and lots of great barred owls wintering over in Vermont this winter.
