Love this picture of the girls...Ripley's intense concentration is, well, I just love it.
My cat does that intense stare and it scares the birdies until they realize there is a screen between them and those scary eyes.

Dudley chatters sometimes too. We were watching raccoons frolicking in my back yard teh other night.
Ripley Sweetfoots, ask ur Centaur to get U a balcony like ours. Excellent for bird, squirrel and stray cat watching (they walk atop a garden wall just below us).
And Oh the taste of warm feathered flesh in ur jaws! Silver is still mourning that robin he caught 2 weeks ago. Mourning because our human took it away from him.

Maxxine didn't do the chattering at birdies thing at first, but nau she does it all the time. We have a ritual in the morning before I leave for werk; she gets to come outside on the balcony for a moment (while I hold her) and we chatter at the birdies together. Teh fun!

My cat doesn't chatter but she does this weird twitching thing. There is a squirrel outside that realy seems to enjoy annoying her by getting as close as possible just to see her do the twitch dance.
