Fuzzy tail! and Fuzzy legz!!

I see he was allowed out to explore finally.

Good thing.

Say -- Maxx needs to have a conversation with Biscuit Breath, who's taken up chasing kitties lately, so I've been told.

He's told biscuit breath that he's not going to play with him anymore unless he knocks it off.

Did you show Maxx NTodd's new kitties?
They're very little and cute.

He's still out playing.

They are very cute. Very cute.

Time to run over to Ntodd's obviously. Mr. Plushy has the kewtest pojamas. Nice to get a different view of Maxx occasionally. Love his little black white-sockleted feeties.

Look Out, Lion Kitty! Your roomie wants to get you a little fuzz-covered companion, like NTodd has gotten.

You might enjoy having somebody around when 4Legs goes to work. You could wrestle with the new kid, bite its ears, play chase all over your house: when you're tired, the two of you could snuggle up for naps. My two guys highly recommend the shared nap, it's much more comfy in the winter.

4Legs, I've heard it recommended to get a female cat to companion a male cat who already has his territorial rights to your space. Even tho they'll both be fixed, some hormone activity might exist. But the resident male won't sense any testosterone challenge from a female newbie.

My various cats have always managed to get along OK, but the idea does make sense.

polly, yeah, that's what I was thinking- to get a female. I'm going to wait until he's better though.

I don't want to stress him anymore than he is already.

Oh, goody. More kittens!

Yes, we can't have Teh Plush stressed in his current delicate state of health. I still remember how depressed he got at the sight of the moving boxes. He might rejoice to have some orange striper who would set off his gorgeous plush - someone shorthaired who won't take as much of HIS centaur's attention ...

I had a 2-year old altered Siamese male cat and hesitantly added an 8-week old Siamese kitten. The 2-year old had a hissy-fit (literally) at first and I was afraid to leave them alone together. But I had to take a phone call and left them together in the bedroom. I worried because it all seemed so quiet, but when I returned, the 2-year old was licking the baby kitten all over and then allowed it to "nurse" for 6 months, until he weaned the baby. I've never seen anything like it -- cracked me up to watch it.

They became best buddies -- mutual grooming, including ears, and sleeping twined together as well as roaring around the apartment chasing each other went on for years. I lost the youngest at age 13. The oldest left me at age 17. I had to take a couple of days off work because I was so overwhelmed by the grief.

I loved my beautiful boys and felt very privileged to have them for so long. After they died, I found out the reason I had bronchitis and asthma was that I was allergic to cats! (I had a doctor who didn't believe in allergists). However, even if I'd found out I was allergic to them when they were alive, I would not have been able to let them go.

Sorry this is so long...just wanted to share how two males worked out well together.

Oh, Sandy - what a sweet story! I'm allergic to cats and have been all my life. I notice the allergies seem to mute somewhat upon long acquaintance with a cat - the first, second, and even third meetings can leave me covered in rashes and sneezing my head off but after a while, things settle down. I couldn't bear to give up my mini-tigers.
