Budding physicist

Just spoke to the breeder and it turns out that the babies have a particle accelerator in their nursery! and that they play with it for hours!!

Oh. My.

Look out Stephen Hawking

I told you!!! I saw it in one of the first photos you posted of The Child. I asked you if she was planning to work with Arthur J., and did you reply? No! But Are Our Feelings Hoit? No, we say. We're just glad Maxx picked a friend and companion for you who would follow in his pawsteps. (She has the funniest feeties, white sox and all!)

Such an innocent expression, but I wonder what mischief she's got stored up for 4Legs?

I, too, love her little feetsies. I wonder what our foot fetish is all about with respect to kitties?

p.s.

thepoliticalcal -- I adore your comments (lol!).

Thank you, Sandy. %^) Fuzzy feeties are more kissable. I love kissing Bandicoot's feet (although I've learned that The Boy is a pigpen in a fur coat, so I check them first for icky bits). He always looks so surprised. Then he pats my face gently, as if to say, "You're weird, but I love you anyway."

Well, this is good news. Arthur won't have to try and maintain the wormhole all by himself.

And maybe she can continue Maxx's work on the Ultimate Weapon against the Alien Carrot? I hope he left good notes.

I love their little feeties too. It's one of the best things about kitties.

The wonderful thing about maine coons is that they have such big feeties- just more to love.

I adored Maxx's white back feeties, just so freaking cute.

I thought of his back feet as "barleycorn toes." Always a little glimpse of something round and white in the background of his shots. I never got to kiss his real-life toes, so I kiss his virtual toes a lot. Maxx is more accepting than the 'Coot.

Three days and counting, no? Oooo, I can't wait!

The memorial pics of Maxx are wonderful. He was the most handsome, plushy boy evah.

FLG, I smell "kid's book" in the story of Maxx's time with you and doing his physicist work, then his transition to comet riding, leaving his earthly work on the Particle Accelerator to the *kitten to be named later*...and Maxx checks in every once in a while to cheer her on. :)

I'm so excited to see the new kitty in her new home, sans needlepoint pillows.

I hope Arthur is ready, the breeder said she's a pistol.

You would subject such a poor little innocent creature to cruel harshness of Physics! Well maybe cat Physics is less painful than human Physics.:)

Oh ELSPETH!!!! YES YES YES!!!!

Oh, noes, is 4LG trapped by Teh Borg? 4LG, I'll be happy to provide assistance, even if it's only the chocolate-eating and encouragement-grunting kind.

Don't be silly. Kitties LOVE physics. It's second nature to them. Why kittens are born with the ability to do differential equations in their little noggins.

Why do you think they get that little spaced out look on their little faces?

Oh, noes, is 4LG trapped by Teh Borg?

Sadly, yes.

Though I am working on it.

So the little kitty in the picture is just realizing that the spherical harmonics are the solution to the Heisenberg equation for the hydrogen atom?

Oops that should have been Schrödinger's equation not Heisenberg's. No wonder I found Physics painful. I guess I should have had a kitten to help me with homework!

Are we at K minus 4 days?

Flory, K minus 3.

I'll have her by lunchtime on Friday.

I, too, have thought a book could come out of this, because Lion Kitty Maxx has a plethora of gorgeous pictures taken by dear 4Legs and lots of funny comments from all the commenters -- but the idea of a children's book is a hoot. With Maxx off on his comet with Barbaro and a new kitten in the wings, waiting for instruction in particle physics - wow! Adorable!

With all the lovely pix of Maxx, and Barbaro, and Molly, and all the comments from his Fan Club, and the pix of Little Baby Lioness Kitty, it would be stunning. And the pix of the comet! Maxx' comet. (sigh).
