They've got it exactly right … that's what I thought too, on seeing the topmost pic.

That is true love, that Maddie will bring you her precious feather on a stick. Must be hard for someone as little as she to bring it up on the bed.

Oh wow, 4LG. Excellent photos!

And yeah, I had the same thought as T&W: Maxx Redux.

Tux thinks she's hot!

...And the other thing I gotta know, what are you shooting with and what mode? Doesn't look like the flashy-thingy is used in these.

Her make-up is just perfect: the black eyeliner at the bottom of her eyes., the white shading on top, and those whiskers...who need mascara! She's just the prettiest little girl. She will break a lot of hearts some day!

poopyman, I'm shooting with a Canon 20D, with a 24-70mm lens in AV mode, aperature set at 2.8.

The only light is from a lamp on my desk which backs up to the sofa.

I'll shoot without the flash if she's sitting still.

Yep. Her uncle Maxxie is really apparent in that top pitcher.

Serene and elegant.

Til she went zooming off after her feather......

Flory, she has to nap sometimes.

I didn't know that Maxx was related to Maddie. I was going to tell you that pretty soon you're going to have to ID these photos so we know who we are looking at.
I was kinda hoping that Maxx might be related to my guy - you know, that time he was gone from my apartment in Austin for over a week? Woulda made a great story.

Oh, no, they're not related except in a spiratual sense.

We're just being silly. I think Maxx would have enjoyed Maddie. Even though she's extremely playful and gets quite wild, she's still very sweet and gentle. She never bites hard and rarely uses her claws (except for climbing my leg.)

A tired, sleepy little beauty! Probably a rare sight in 4Legs house lately. All that energy!

So gorgeous! And I love those long, wispy eyebrow-whiskers!

From your lips to the cat goddesses ears.

Preferably at night would be good.....

That bottom picture is of a kitten who is SOOO tired, her li'l eyes are wandering off in different directions. And her eyebrows are drooping. Poor li'l fluffball.

There is a suspicious dearth of Saturday KiddenPlush™ on this blog.

This must not be allowed to contine.

My cat Xena would not deign to fetch anything while Hunter S. Thomcat was alive. (HST was a champion fetcher, I was afraid he was going to collide with a wall sometimes.) After HST died, Xena first found all of his fetching toys and put them in my bed (you can imagine the freakout I had when I was changing the sheets and found all these mice, balls and other assorted objects in between the sheets so soon after HST died). Now she fetches. And she's 10 years old. I guess she was watching all those years.

I'm so in love. She's about the most beautiful cat I've ever seen.

My boy is handsome and special, but Maddie is a whole other category.
