I'm feeling a little sad this evening. My sweet, sweet Mr. Plushy.

{{{Hugs}}} to flg and

scritches to lkm,

wherever he's currently prowling.

Big change brings up the emotions for me.

Safe travels tomorrow to you and the new little one.

You'll always love him, and he will always, always have a special place in your heart. The new little one won't change that. Maxx is safe in your heart.

And somehow, by some miracle, your heart grows to make room for another. Peace to you fourlegs.

Maxx has a very special soul that shined from his eyes in every picture.

The new kitten will have her own "thing" but I think LKM was one of the sweetest, most beautiful creatures I've ever seen.

He had star quality in spades.

Now I'm sorry I didn't check in last night. Sweetie, I'd love to say "Don't be sad," but how can you not be whatever you are at that moment? Only know you gave him the best years of his life - how lost and sad he was before you came along, and what a happy, joyous, blessed beauty he bloomed into. He is with you forever as he is with each of us who fell in love with him because you shared him with us, with your special skill. And today a little tiny healing balm will come into your life and she will remind you of him every day in the best possible way. The sadness goes away in the end, really it does. I hug you.

It occurs to me that the first shot has caught a really silly, nutty expression on the face of the lovely PlushMeister.

I've tried refreshing the page --

I can't wait to see pictures of the new little one!

Here's hoping the new kitten eases your heart a bit.

Oh, and what others have said. You'll always have Lion Kitty's love.

Still no word, eh? Sigh. Guess I'll just have to check in in the morning. Gojira has gone insane and is leaping about the bed, attacking and munching the pillows, and Gustav the PsychoKitty is getting the mad look in his eyes that tells me he is about to 'splode all over her silvery grey ass in T minus two, if I don't intervene. Let's hope he doesn't bite a finger off me this time.

4lg, I hope your road trip was pleasant and you and your new feline overlord have arrived home safely.

I wanna see the new kitty! (trying to be patient, and it's not working!)

Sigh.

guess I'll just go to bed. It feels like Christmas. I'll just have to wait for Santa Clause to come and go and THEN I can get up.

Mr Plushy was gorgeous and will live on in memory.

I am grieving the perhaps soon death of a cat, Mr Boots. I have never met him but am part of a group that saved him. You can see his story at www.wylieandmrboots.blogspot.com

Even if you are not Christian or spiritual or into any institutional religion, you cat lovers here can understand how a bunch of people (most of whom have never met except through cyberspace) banded together through the internet to save an old cat from euthanasia two days after his person died from ovarian cancer.

We are not sure what is going on, but it sounds like a sudden onslaught of mouth cancer. It is very sad, but collectively, we gave Mr Boots an extra month of life and a lot of love.
