Does Maddie give back this tongue-bathing Lurve?

I've just had a shock. Amazon delivered my order for Glenn Greenwald's new book, but on opening the box, I found Joe Conason's It Can Happen Here.

Which I don't remember ordering. It must be early Alzhiemer's. But there was a note (in small print) promising my "other items will ship separately."

So maybe Amazon had already sold out of Greenwald's book? Wouldn't that be good news?

Yes, Maddie does groom Ripley. In fact, she started it. It took weeks for Ripley to decide to groom Maddie back.

Now she does it all the time.
