Hanging out is a perfect Sunday thing to do.

I thought that first pic was Maxx, too! Wow!!! She does take after her uncle! :)
Sad note - my folks' dog had to be put down yesterday - two weeks of surgeries and infections and dire circumstances that just weren't workable...they are heartbroken. I hope in the right amount of time for them that they can find room in their hearts for another pet, and share the love again.
Blessings,
Elspeth

Yes, they both have good motors.

Elspeth, sorry about your parents dog. It's hard to let them go.

A lovely photo of Maddie! She's definitely channeling Maxx as she gets older.

Da big toes...oh noes!

Well, Maxxine had her first kitten vaccination and she was completely fearless to, from and at the vets. My vet (a lovely man...Dr. Mark Cotnam at the University Animal Clinic) actually called her "Maxx" twice and praised her kittehtude...she's in perfect health, with a great start to life. She still only weighed in at 1 pound eleven ounces, but that's a gain of eleven ounces in just over two weeks.

Anyway, the vaccine conked her out for the better part of Saturday and into Sunday morning. Karmina actually showed some kitty concern and empathy..."What up wid YOU?" She fully recovered yesterday, and they played chase just now at lunchtime, so she's as good as new.

Oh, fourlegs, a good friend of mine talked me into a Sony (sorry!)...a very nice compact digital camera ("Cybershot DSC-T50") for the money. I decided against a big ol' SLR in favor of something I can take quick, fast-kitty-action photos, one-handed if need be. It has an image stabilizer built in as well, plus some other nice features. Precision had it for close to $400, but then I saw it on Amazon for $320 and decided to order from them (also saving the taxes). Should have it sometime late this week, or early next week!

War on, for a point and shoot the Sony is a good choice.

The "dignitude" is an optical illusion. She's actually quite silly.
