She's upside down. Always being a roly-poly.
And a little girly-girl. ("Why are you putting stuff on me again?")

she's the prettiest of the pretty kittens.
But very soon, she won't be a kitten no more. Oh well, we will still love our Madeleine
She looks thoroughly disgusted with the pink feathers.
Those are dangerous when you're working around the particle accelerator. They could get caught in the ion stream....
Work on the editorial side of Vanderbilt University Creative Services pretty much stops once a day for a few minutes when we spend our break looking at photos of Maddie. We have our own cats, and we love our cats the best. But we also generally acknowledge that Maddie is absolutely the cutest kitten ever.
She'll still be gorgeous--even more gorgeous!!--when she grows up.
Thanks so much for letting us peek into her life.
A pink feather boa?
Does Maddie think that's worth playing with? Or do feathers need to be on a stick to be play-worthy?

Awwww! that's so nice to know.

They're supposed to go on the end of a stick or something. I'm thinking of hanging it from a bungee cord.

Bungee cord … great! Then when Maddie jumps up to catch the feathers, the cord (and Maddie) will go boinging up and down.
The Girl will have an upside-down pogo stick!
