Happy Birthday!!

To the Brooklyn Bridge. Which is, uhhh, old!

If you've ever wondered how photographers get these cool fireworks photos, it's done with a long exposure with a moderate aperture setting. This one is really lovely. And yes, you generally need an SLR to get the shot, though some of the newer point and shoots have "fireworks" settings.

I don't know how well they work though.

Thank You, Four Legs. First I got some JacquieLawson cards, and now this!

I never knew the Brooklyn Bridge and I shared a birthday. Things can be learned hanging around with Plushies and a Centaur.

It's raining in Sacramento, CA today. At the end of May! Ceiling Cat is blessing us on my b'day.

Four Legs Good, ma'am. Someone must have snuck in and used yur computor when U were out.

I have too much respect for U as a perfect Kitteh caregiver to believe U would post such a disgusting pic as that poor Cat actually licking a rat.

That is a mentally damaged Cat who is being abused by a cruel human and worse rat. There oughta be a law to keep dirty pix off the Internets. U won't see that kind of pron on the KittehNet.

I hope the innocent darlings Ripley and Maddie do not see this horrid image. The shock could make their hair fall out!

Silkey, horrified fan

Oooo, pretty fireworks! Yeah, they're hard to photograph if you don't have the right equipment. Which I don't.

Every time I go to NYC, I sneak in a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Maybe it's because of walking across it with special people, or the fact that my great uncle used to change the light bulbs on the bridge, but it's a part of me. Here is a link to some photos of the bridge I took in December when there had been a slight snowfall.
