She'll be every bit as loveable and plush as her Uncle Maxx, who was, as I recall, a cat. Will she keep her endearingly naughty kitten ways, that's the question.

I think Madeleine has the wherewithal to be quite an imp. Adorable, but impish, and I'll adore her just like I did Maxx!

once when steve was little we were doing the feather thing. as you know, because i always brag on him, he is very aggresive. unlike what i presume is your professional safety aproved feather toy, mine was just a bird feather tied to a broken fishing rod. he got his toe stuck in the last eyelet, and ever afterward was terrified of the Evil Feather...

i like very much the pic of maddie jumping out of frame.

the good thing about kittens, as opposed to puppies, is they grow up to be cats.

Then there'll just be more of her to love.

And maybe she will slow from light speed to mere whirling dervish, giving you better opportunities for "action" shots.
