Damn, another 'air Maddie' photo where she's jumping out of frame.
She loves anything with feathers. Birds of the world, beware.
Marty mouse!! in neon!!
Crumpled paper makes a nice toy too. A little out of focus, but what the heck.
Time for nap.

Action Madeleine and her many toys! Love her to bits!
I love the one of her in the air. She's in two different places at once.
I love her markings. She's going to have a very dramatic coat.
These are great pictures!
Action Maddie is right -- the slightly out-of-focus pictures capture that so well.
I love the one where she's on her back with the feathers -- love those little kitten bellies.
A good friend of mine has a beautiful all-black cat named Sir Chumley of Amherst (Chumley for short). I am a frequent visitor and love that cat to pieces -- I love love love to pet him and have my hands on him -- to the extent that sometimes he gets in a huff and goes into the bedroom to sit on the bed and get some relief.
Last night, thinking of Maddie and her feathers, I asked my friend if she had any feathers to tease him with. We found the feather switch and a hilarious time ensued -- Chumley is a big huge guy, not a little imp like Maddie, and to see him on his back trying to kill the feathers had us in stitches!
Your kitten is growing by leaps and bounds-literally.
So in that third picture, what is up with the leg? Which one is sticking out to the left?
Whew. I'm tired just watching her.
You've been toy shopping haven't you?
I hope Tarjay appreciates the free advert.

That's her right front leg.
Yes Flory, she's got lots of toys.
A truism of bizzy balls, they always end up under the sofa or under the book shelves.
FOCUS!
Ntodd, hell, I'm having trouble just getting her in the frame- she moves wicked fast.
SO glad you got a new kitty. A house feels so empty without one (or 4).
She is a real beauty.
Poor kitty, nothing to play with.
My old cat loves a peacock feather. I think it's the "eye" that makes her nutzo.

ntodd should talk.
you might try shutting down a little, just for the action shots, it's not as good...
ah,, they are fine. crumpled paper makes the best cat toy, but paper bags are good too.

The problem isn't shutter speed, the problem is trying to get her to play in one spot so I can get some shots.
I need an assistant to work the feather thingee- it's hard to play with her and handle the camera, especially when I'm using the speedlite.
SWEET!
4Legs,
It's o.k. -- these pictures are classic kitten and we love them each and every one!
Great, great action shots! Love the one of her airborne. Her feather toys look like the ones my three have.
