And your daily kitten fix

Horrors!! I went to Target today and they have discontinued Maddie's favorite feather on a stick. I'm not sure what we'll do when she has plucked her current supply bare.

In happier news, for those of you who want one for your kitties, Target now carries the Cheese-Chase particle accelerator in the stores (previously only available online). You may not know it, but I'm certain that your cat enjoys doing physics experiments too.

Hey, sugar --

Hubby makes them from some craft feathers and wine corks -- he sticks 'em in with some glue on the shaft.

We have one on an old fishing pole on monofilament and the kitties luuuuurve it.

Well, that's an idea.

4lg,
an alternative source might be available. I have seen these at PetSmart in Lubbock.

Well, my PetsMart has them too, but for some reason she really, really, really likes the one that Target carried.

The handle is skinnier and bendier- she likes to carry it around and play with it. Must not be as fun with the other ones.

4LG, have you tried Cherrybrook or JB Pet Wholesale? They have some feather on a stick type toys. Or, if you know the manufacturer, perhaps you can find them on-line and see who else carries them.

Thanks Bunter, I'll check into that.

What's the name/part number.

I'll hit the local Target Tuesday and see what they have in stock.
