In an abrubt turnabout, Madeleine the kitten dined on the Veep tonight. Her thoughts:
"He was rather fatty and bland and had a pungent, bitter note (I attribute that to the scowl being a permanent internalization). But I managed to keep him down, afterall, I do sometimes groom my posterior regions, that funky, gamey je n'ai se quois isn't totally alien to me. He will soon be gracing the litter box granules - far too late to have made the world situation any better."

Be careful with the sweets. My oldest cat licked off the coating of M&Ms a year and a half ago and overdosed to the point that I thought she would die. Off to the emergency vet 50 miles away and scared stiff. She came out of it but has not been allowed ANYTHING sweet, including ice cream, since then. (She still has an incorrigible sweet tooth.)
