Embrace the Eeeeeeptitude

That's her teddy bear in the background, which she has taken to killing with a vengence.

I'm not sure how she sleeps with her head upside down like that. Goofy kitten.

They're not awake yet. Little scamps. I think they play all day, have some dinner when I get home and then crash out. They'll be awake again around 11:00, just in time for me to go to bed.

I think she's trouble.

Ripley is the vamp of them two. She'll break a lot of hearts some day. Maddie is the sensible older sister. As it should be.

If Maddie is sensible, I'm in big trouble.

Sleeping with one's head upside down causes blood to fill one's tufty ears, keeping them nice and warm.

And extra blood around the brain can fertilize dreams. A cat can see bigger dream mice, bigger and easier to catch for an inexperienced kitten.

Tastier mice, too. Yummmm!

So says my Silver cat, a Plushy fellow himself.

Maddie likes feathered things.

Ripley likes mousies.

My puppy has that same wild-eyed look. She's infuriating and irresistible at once.

I hope you're submitting that top one to Daily Kitten. Maddie had her 15 minutes, only fair Ripley gets a shot.

You need to play with them right after dinner, so they'll be totally exhausted by bedtime. (Ask me how well that worked for zzzzz ...).
