I saw your comment over on Atrios about how well she's doing post op-I'm glad. I know even those routine surgeries can be worrisome to centaurs, and other folk.
Don't be surprised if she staggers around the house like a drunk, her front end going in a different end than her back end, with the tail going in circles. The anesthesia does that to them. It's funny but also sad.

good girl!
Good for Maddie. My babies are relieved for her.
Great photo for the caption.
Poor baby, abandoned at the vet's. You'll be her hero soon when you bring her home and love on her.
Wonder what Ripley's been up to without her new friend?

I'll bet she'll bite me.
Ripley has probably ordered pizza and burned the house down.
Poor baby.
Extra scritches for Maddie.
Now she and Ripley can compare scars....
flory
I wonder if Ripley will be scared by the vet/ surgery/ antiseptic smell?
How will you keep Maddie from bursting her stitches (staples) playing with Ripley?
Brave Ripley, already joining the Great Peep War. You named her well.

I dunno. Ripley just got spayed a week ago and she started playing energetically almost right away. So far her staples have held just fine.
Hopefully Maddie will be okay too.

Nah, she seems okay. My vet keeps them until the anesthetic wears off.
