If Maddie's been demanding, it's because she still has an unmet Petting Deficit.
When you were in NYC, Maddie's recommended daily requirement of Petting and Scritches went into deficit. Your kittensitters did their best, but they couldn't replace a Centaur's touch.
Ms. Chainsaw follows her sister's example, like the smart little critter she is.
They are just going through their preteen aggressive-I -want -to -crawl -in- side -of- you- stage- it''ll pass and then they will hit the teens where they will be convinced of their omnipotence, and start smoking and prying open the liquor cabinet when you are gone. Enjoy the - i wanna crawl inside you and take little bits of you in my mouth because Im gonna miss you when you are gone!
My nephew and his wife have just gotten a 14 week-old Maine coon kitten and say he's going to turn out to be a big boy (he's already 4.4 pounds). Now I have to make sure they send me photos.

Oh, I believe that. I took Maddie in at 14 weeks and she was already 5 lbs. I about fainted.
ah yes ... it could be worse. My first Maine Coon (and her daughter, three years later, at about the same age) jumped into my lap, then walked up my chest and bit the divider between my nostrils, and hung by her teeth.
Do you know, it's nearly impossible to make any sound when there's a cat hanging from the lower end of your septum?
As for getting them loose ... I sneezed, violently. I think they dropped off from fright.
I did warn you! The Monster (aptly named!) once leapt five feet from the ground to bite me in the nose. Luckily, Zingiber and Bandicoot are lickers/nibblers, although Brr took the skin off the tip of my nose with compulsive licking, and Coot likes to get my finger crosswise in his mouth and start biting harder and harder. They'll settle down soon. I hope.
I've watched older kittens get uppity with their mom and have seen mom give them the unwavering "be careful, kit, I'll spank you good" stare. Smart kits backed down; rebellious kits got pinned with bite applied as required until surrender. Mama didn't take any impudence from her older kits, and they were all bigger than she was.
Guess you'll have to go with the "No Ears" yell, and keep the bathroom door shut.

There is no such thing as a bad kidden!!
They're just too cute.

Maddie is beginning to take on the demeanor of the adult -- I see wisdom lurking in this picture, even though she's still kidden enough to be a scamp.
That's a beautiful picture of Ripley -- she's got such a sweet expression.
Not Bad Kittens!

They were bad this morning. Ripley was biting my ankles and Maddie jumped up on me after I told her no and scratched the crap out of me.
I was ready to beat both of them.

Uhhhh, I dunno. I see wheels turning inside that little kitty haid, and it doesn't bode well for the centaur.
They are boootiful critters, though, and all must be forgiven, even in advance of possible mischief.
I was ready to beat both of them.
Oh, you were not. Don't even bother trying to convince us.

Oh yes I was. Maddie jumped up on me when I was getting out of the shower AFTER I'd told her "NO!!" and scratched the hell out of me.
I'm sure they'll want to kiss and make up with you tonight, fourlegs.
My dog looks innocent, too, but he bit someone (just a little) recently.

OK. Mebbe they can be bad.
BAD KIDDENS!
DO NOT BITE THE CENTAUR THAT FEEDS YOU!!
Psilly gurlz.
Take care of those scratches -- I have a friend who got cat scratch fever -- this is not something you want to mess around with.

If you get pics, send them my way.

Oy. Maddie jumps up on me and then nips me on the chin or the nose with those razor sharp teeth.
Eeek.

...The Other Sarah

Oh, my.
Maddie tends to bite me through the earlobe, and she always manages to get her tooth in around my diamond stud, which is in a screwback setting.
Then she yanks.
Now when I pick her up I'm always yelling, "No EARS!!! No EARS!!!"
The Other Sarah … (she) then walked up my chest and bit the divider between my nostrils, and hung by her teeth.
That brought on the first deep laugh of my day.
Bless the intertubes.
I'm sorry, that had to be painful. But the picture of a goofy kitten hanging from one's septum is teh funny.

She's just trying to pierce your ear for you, so you can lose the screwback.
What a thoughtful kidden.....

Or Maddie has a confused memory of looking for a teat.
After his mom weaned him, one of my guys took to "nursing" on my blouse buttons.
I believe you.
Those faces aren't that innocent.
