(And no, I am not advocating assassination of anyone, just making the point that tyrants are often consumed by the terror they create.)

You little dumpling, I was making just this comparison yesterday.
I'm sort of an amateur historian of the french revolution- so it's a comparison that I make a lot. I'm hoping we're in the beginning stages of that process.

Yeah, makes me sick too. What makes me the sickest though is the cultural illiteracy of so many americans.
I'm sure most Atriots would immediately get the reference. Most wingers? not so much.
These particular tyrants are going to be consumed by the very laws that they so disdain.
Nixon being a more recent example for them.
