Will the tumor eventually interfere with his ability to eat? Will it make sense at some point to have it removed just so he can eat and drink?
It's not removeable. It involves most of the soft tissue in that side of his mouth. Eventually it will just become too painful, and/or metastisize to his lymphic system or his brain.
For blacksheep's question, so far it's growing out and not up, so hopefully it won't affect his breathing.

He is a beauty and you are a wonderful daddy!
Very sweet.
Like a sugar cube.
Indeed...it's his eyes that steal our souls...God love the little fella.
We do not want a Bolton-esque Plushy.
No mustaches!!
His little face is perfectly perfect just the way it is. Even with squirrel cheecks.....
4lg, I've been comparing photography back to the earliest LKM pictures here.
His face is fuller, but it isn't disproportional; is the malignancy localized on one side, or under his little white chin?
He has such a lovely face.

Coy is enticing, coy is seductive.
Coy is obviously the other name for the great Plushy One, who has all these good qualities in spades.
Tell us how your cold is doing, please, Four Legged One.
Blacksheep, the tumor is in his right cheek (your left as you look at the photograph).
It's beginning to be noticeable- one of my neighbors asked me this evening if he'd been in a fight.

Hidey and Magoo send best wishes.
4lg, to me, Maxx is beautiful.
I see what you're talking about.
Is it encapsulated?
Will it interfere with his breathing?
