Oh gosh, it's so hard to leave the house when they look at you like that. One last extra kiss, tell him you'll be home as soon as you can, and remember he has an obligation as a feline to sleep most of the day.

Well, Maxx is probably above the cheap trix that my crowd indulge in. They act all sad that I'm leaving, and if I call in teleloafing, they sponge my body heat off me and spend the entire day (and most of the night) practicing their catropractic techniques - you know, walking up and down my spine, adjusting my shoulder and hip sockets, smushing the kneecaps. It's the Leap On The Belly Spinal Adjustment that really pisses me off, though. Maxx would NEVER do THAT. Would you, darlin' boy? Smoochies.
