I'm not sure why some idiots get so freaking upset when adults like Harry Potter. Get the fuck over it. The books are fun. There is no huge mystery here.
And yes, we do like to read other novels. Yglesias is a silly little punk and not representative of the rest of us.

And there will be much rejoicing! (and effectively zero reading of blogs until I get to the last page.)

Yeah, don't spill the beans on the plot. I am not going to get the book at midnight but will land my hands on it sooner than later. I have only read one book (the last one) but have listened to all the rest. Jim Dales is absolutely the BEST reader -- if you haven't listened to HP, do.
Don't worry, I wouldn't DREAM of telling anyone what happens.
I just have to read it right away before the spoilers leak out in the press.
I'll wait until everyone has read it before discussing.
