Four Legs, it's good to let us know here when you've posted on ur other "serious" blog.

Now that you seem to be posting more there.
It isn't blogwhoring when both are ur own blogs.

Do U know abt dailycoyote.blogspot.com? Charlie, the coyote is beautiful, as are the blogger's other pix. Shreve is a talented photographer.

4Legs -- The skies above Los Angeles were clear and the sight of the lunar eclipse (which a friend reminded me of) was wonderful to behold. I had been driving and pulled over at a good spot to observe it for minutes on end.

It amazed me that thousands of people were going on about their business in ignorance of the magnificent spectacle going on in the skies above them.

Your wonderful posts about the universe above have been very inspiring over the years, reminding me about something I don't often take time to look at.

Hi, 4LG,

Last night we had a gorgeous view of the eclipse in southern Mass. Clear skies and bright stars. A lovely moment.

I love your space pics.

It was too cloudy anyway, fourlegs...I'm out here next to the 360 bridge (with a great view of the night sky), and couldn't see it either.

That mountain pic rocks. We got a really good view in MN on a very cold night.

I was clouded out except for a few of glimpses. It rained during the end of the eclipse. Once the eclipse was over it cleared up a little.

Oh 4lgs, I was hoping you'd get to see it. Thought of you as I stood outside in 10 degree weather marvelling at the orange moon at full eclipse and then white and orange moon as it moved out of the eclipse. Too bad for you!

I hope the weather is more cooperative for you the next time there is an eclipse like this. I was surprised at how awe-inspiring it was. Even after you've seen a lot of pictures, there is something so amazing and beautiful about seeing it for real.

Everything seemed peaceful for a few minutes.

Too cloudy here to see it, so your pictures are most welcomed, 4legs.

My cousin was flying out to Denver for our aunt's funeral that night and the pilot tweaked the flight plan a little so everybody could see the eclipse. Sweet pilot. Beautiful view.
