One of the nicest things about spring is the arrival of the cherry blossoms. Not that we have any here. But nice nonetheless.

I miss the cherry blossoms. I grew up in the DC area, and at this time of year I always get a bit homesick for the blooming trees, tulips, and gorgeous azaleas. But we do have lovely lilacs in Massachusetts come May.
Our Texas mountain laurel blooms are way-too short-lived. I already miss the smell of purple bubble gum. *sigh*
