AP Photo/NASA... and because the photograph is beautiful. This is an artist's conception of the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter over the Martian landscape. The MRO is on course to enter orbit around the red planet on March 10th. It will spend 2 years photographing the planet's surface.
It is my fondest dream to someday walk the surface of an alien world. Sigh.

Hmmm.
Perhaps the reason I've always wanted to go to outer space is because I don't feel as if I belong on earth.
