You're welcome Nim. We are happy to share in your joy today.

From a safe distance, of course. :-)

Such a thoughtful kitty. We know how much he's gonna miss that peep....

This is what you call a Regal Visage.

Since Maxx gets lonesome when you're away too long, you might think abt getting him a companion cat. He's young enough to adjust to a new cat, and two young ones have such fun playing together.

Your lap is surely big enough for two balls of fur?

polly, I'd love to do that, but he hates other cats and chases them away.

4Legs,

How old is lion kitty maxx? I had a Siamese who was about two years old when I brought a tiny little siamese kitten home one weekend to keep him company. I figured I'd check out how the big one responded to the baby and take the little one back if it didn't work.

The big one took one look at the kitten and leaped up in the air, fur standing out in all directions! I thought for sure he'd kill the little one.

I had to take a phone call and then when I didn't hear anything from the bedroom, I worried about the consequences.

When I got to the bedroom, the big one was licking the kitten all over, taking over as a mother-daddy cat. The male 2-year old even let the little one "nurse" for 6 months until he weaned the baby!!!!! (I'd never heard of that before -- it was such a kick to see).
