Spring!
Spring has arrived in Central Texas. Actually it's been here awhile. SInce January in fact.
We finally got some rain though, and the tree outside my office window actually bloomed. And even more happily, the birds have discovered the feeder I hung at home, and the girls now have some live birdie teevee to occupy them during the day.

No spring in Massachusetts, yet. But birds are arriving, and we have robins hopping all over the yard, in addition to the woodpeckers and finches at the bird feeders. Our three boyz are well entertained.
Birdie cam?
Iz almost cruel....gurlz can see teh birdies, but they can't.....catch...teh birdies....
flory
Oh noes, they like it! keeps them from being bored.
Plus I like feeding teh little robins and sparrows.
And kittehs iz safer in da house. And so are teh birdz.
4legs, ur girls are bee-yoo-tee-ful.
and yes indeed spring has sprung upon us.
it is good, no?
Grass? Tree blossoms? Leaves? Um, not until May in Central Vermont.
But there has been a cardinal pair in the tree outside the downstairs window in the sitting room, which gives the kittehs close-up birdie TV.
Ooh, is that mesquite tree? Somebody here at work was telling me if the mesquites hadn't bloomed yet, we might be in for another frost (some kind of folk wisdom from his elderly mother). Late Frost: DOAN WANT!
